An Introduction to Huangshui Tourist Resort

黄水旅游度假区位于重庆市石柱县黄水镇，面积9.23平方公里，距沪渝高速公路河源(冷水镇)出入口23公里、重庆主城230公里，周边有重庆江北、万州五桥、黔江和湖北恩施四大机场。

Huangshui Tourist Resort is located in Huangshui Town, Shizhu County, Chongqing Province. This resort covers an area of 9.23 square kilometers. It is 23 kilometers away from the Heyuan entrance (Lengshui Town) of Shanghai-Chongqing Expressway and 230 kilometers away from the main urban area of Chongqing. It is surrounded by four renowned airports, Chongqing Jiangbei International Airport, Wanzhou Wuqiao Airport, Qianjiang Wulingshan Airport and Hubei Enshi Xujiaping Airport.

度假区有丰富的自然景观资源。在苍茫浩瀚的原始森林中，山川峡谷、湖泊溪流、田园花海、传统村落等美景密布；其森林覆盖率达85%以上，负氧离子平均每立方厘米达1500个以上;夏季平均气温21℃，是著名的康养度假胜地。

The resort has rich natural landscapes. In the vast old-growth forests, mountains, valleys, lakes, streams, fields, oceans of flowers and traditional villages can be found easily. The forest coverage rate here is more than 85% and the average negative oxygen ions concentration per cubic centimeter is more than 1,500. The average temperature in summer is 21℃. Huangshui Tourist Resort is a famous wellness retreat.

度假区人文景观资源特色鲜明。世界经典民歌《太阳出来喜洋洋》、国家级非遗“土家啰儿调”“土家吊脚楼”“玩牛”以及中国重要农业文化遗产“黄连生产系统”等传统文化具有显著的独特性、唯一性;土家大型歌舞《天上黄水》、万人摆手舞、土家大舞台常态化演绎，展示神秘浓郁的土家民族文化风情。

The resort has distinctive characteristics of human landscape resources. Beaming with Joy at Sunrise-world famous classic folk song, Tujia Luoer Tune-the national intangible cultural heritage, Tujia Diaojiaolou-folk houses, Tujia Wanniu dance-an ox dance, Chinese goldthread production system-China’s important agricultural cultural heritage and other traditional cultures are all distinctively unique. Tianshang Huangshui or Heaven Huangshui on Earth-Tujia group dance, group hand dance and daily performances at Tujia stages all exude the mysterious and rich Tujia ethnic cultural aroma.
